Pakistani police stopped a marriage between a 13 year old girl and a 50 year old man.
The police raided the place where the wedding ceremony was in progress, and arrested the groom and the bride's father.
The father of the bride told the media that he had to agree on the marriage against a sum of Rs100,000.
He said he needed the money to meet the expenses of the construction of a room in his small house.
