Pippa Middleton's engagement news is all over the internet! Pippa and James Matthews announced their engagement this week.
Even though her sister Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, is happy for her sister's engagement and super excited for the wedding, some rumors claim that she might not be the miad of honor, for fear of overshadowing the bride.
Being that Princess Kate is married to a prince who is second in line to the crown, her hesitation at being a key part of her sister's wedding makes perfect sense.
"Kate would upstage her sister," veteran royals author Judy Wade explains.
"It's a tricky situation for Pippa. She would want her sister by her side, as who else would she trust to make things go well?
The wedding will likely be the social event of the year with many famous and royal faces in attendance.
