Ezra Fashion Show at Dubai Fashion Forward 2015

Dubai-based designer Ezra kicked off Fashion Forward 2015, with his candy floss couture collection!

Ezra's latest collection The Clara Collection was inspired by Manila in the 1930s, around the time that Spain colonized the Philippines.

Ezra’s pieces featured pina, a rare fiber made from the leaves of pineapple plants mixed with silk, to stunning effect. The collection was also awash with abaca and enable, plant-derived fabrics made from materials indigenous to the Philippines.

Blush pink and fuchsia defined the collection with Ezra’s trademark Cinderella ball gowns of silk tulle, crepe, and jacquard shimmering with intricate bead detailing.
