Most Flower Girls in a Wedding

The most flower girls at a wedding are 253 and were achieved at the wedding of Charlene Pearson and Leon Watts (both Australia) in Hita, Japan, on 2 April 2017.

Charlene and Leon wanted to attempt this record to bring joy to Hita since the earthquake a year previous to the wedding.

Bridal Veil

Longest Wedding Veil

The longest wedding veil measured 6,962.6 m (22,843 ft 2.11 in) and was achieved by Maria Paraskeva (Cyprus) in Larnaca, Cyprus, on 14 August 2018.

It has been Maria's dream since she was a child to break the record for 'Longest wedding veil.'

The world’s largest wedding cake weighed 6.818 tonnes (15,032 lb) and was made by chefs at the Mohegan Sun Hotel and Casino, Uncasville, Connecticut, USA, and displayed at their New England bridal showcase on 8 February 2004.

Wedding Bouquet

The largest wedding bouquet measured 60.09 m (197 ft 1 in) long and was made using 1,500 flowers including roses and carnations. It was held by Christa Rasanayagam (Canada) when she married Arulanantham Suresh Joachim (Australia) at King Catholic Church, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada on 6 September 2003.

The bouquet also weighed 92 kg (202.8 lb) and was made up of 500 roses, 400 carnations, 60 lilies, 200 daisies, and 340 baby breaths. In addition to these 1500 flowers, bear grass, Ontario Cedar, and Italian Ruches. This was the wedding ceremony, as their registration occurred on 16 August 2003. The couple also used 79 bridesmaids and 47 groomsmen to assist them.

Longest Wedding Dress Train

The world’s Longest wedding dress train has been unveiled in Caudry, a French town famous for its production of lace, 11 years after the Guinness World Records title was first set there.

The spectacular white gown has an 8,095.40 m (26,559.71 ft) train which is almost long enough to cover Mount Everest (8,848 m)!

Construction company Dynamic Projects, with the help of 15 volunteers, spent two months stitching individual pieces of the train before sewing them all together to form a whole.
