This exclusive, one-night Familiarization (FAM) trip to Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), organized in collaboration with ACCOR, is designed to provide partners with an immersive and focused discovery of key luxury event and wedding venues in the emirate. The trip's core objective is to showcase the diverse offerings of ACCOR's high-end portfolio, emphasizing suitability for destination weddings and corporate events.

The central component of the itinerary will be a one-night stay at the stunning Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort. This experience will allow for a deep dive into the resort's beachfront setting, luxurious accommodations, expansive ballroom facilities, and dedicated outdoor wedding spaces. Attendees will explore the resort's full-service capabilities, from bespoke catering options to guest experience flow.

In addition to the primary Sofitel experience, the trip will feature targeted site inspections:

SO/ Ras Al Khaimah (Pre-Opening Preview): A highly anticipated visit to the soon-to-open SO/ RAK, offering a firsthand look at its unique design, innovative event spaces, and high-style luxury concept, crucial for understanding its future positioning in the ultra-luxury market.

Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah: A visit to Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah will round out the portfolio experience, showcasing its distinct atmosphere and capacity for large-scale, all-inclusive destination celebrations.

This mini FAM trip is curated for maximum impact, efficiently delivering comprehensive insight into RAK's premier luxury event landscape within a streamlined 24-hour timeframe.

Itinerary: 

Thursday, 27 November

• 12:00 PM – Check-into Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort and welcome drinks
• 12:30 – 1:00 PM – SO/ Hotel site inspection
• 1:00 – 2:30 PM – Lunch at Rixos Al Mairid followed by a site visit
• 3:00 – 4:00 PM – Return to Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort to freshen up
• 4:00 – 5:30 PM – Cocktail-making competition
• 5:30 – 7:00 PM – Free time to freshen up
• 7:00 – 9:00 PM – Waterfront dinner at the terrace of Waka restaurant

Friday, 28 November

• 8:30 – 10:00 AM – Breakfast
• 10:00 – 10:30 AM – Short site inspection of Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort
• 10:30 AM onwards – Free time

Exclusions:

• International or domestic airfare or land transportation to and from Ras Al Khaimah is not included.
• Personal Expenses: Any charges incurred for laundry, minibar, room service, or incidental purchases are the responsibility of the attendee.
• Optional Activities: Any activities taken during "Free Time" or any expenses outside the scheduled itinerary.
• Visas and Travel Insurance: Travel insurance and any required UAE visa costs are the responsibility of the attendee.

• AED 300 per person for non-members 

Selection Criteria: 

Spaces are limited, and confirmation is not straightforward. The final decision on delegate selection will be made jointly with our ACCOR  partners. Our primary criterion is the likelihood of the nominated wedding planner booking a wedding in Ras Al Khaimah, ensuring the trip benefits both the properties and wedding planners.
