Adele and boyfriend Simon Konecki have been facing wedding rumors ever since they got together.
The couple has one baby together, Angelo, and the star spoke on how all this affected her life and her writing process.
The "Hello" singer explained to The Guardian that she couldn’t completely lose herself, as she had before, when she was writing her new music.
"I couldn’t give in to any of that in order to access my creativity. There was no opportunity," Adele explained. "Because now I’m responsible for someone."
Adele, 27, and and Simon Konecki 41, first started dating in the summer of 2011 and their relationship quickly got serious. By June 2012, Adele announced she was pregnant. Her son was born in October 2012.
"I thought it would be easy. ‘Everyone does it, how hard can it be?’ Ohhhhh…" Adele told i-D.
"I had no idea. It is hard but it’s phenomenal. It’s the greatest thing I ever did."
And Konecki has stood by Adele every step of the way. "He’s so supportive," she told Rolling Stone. "And that takes a very big man, because I’m very successful at what I do. My last boyfriend was uncomfortable with how successful I was, and the fact that he had to share me with lots of people."
Adele also said marriage isn't in the cards right now. "I have said a million times I’m not married and everyone still says we are", she told Rolling Stone.
"But, yeah, we’re still together. We haven’t broken up. We’ve never broken up. We’ve been together. We just haven’t felt the need to get married. We’ve got a kid together. I feel like that’s a big enough commitment."
