Celebrating its 18th Anniversary this year, BRIDE 2015, the leading Middle East showcase for the best in the wedding, fashion, beauty, jewellery and honeymoon travel industries, is launching in Abu Dhabi in January and Dubai in March and is looking to build on the success of the 2014 events, which were attended by over 28,000 consumers and visitors.
Running from the 28 - 31 January in the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and from the 25 – 28 March in Dubai International Exhibition Centre, the BRIDE shows are the region’s largest and most luxurious bridal and consumer lifestyle events and will offer a one stop shop for everyone from wedding organisers to couples and their families planning the big day.
“The wedding day is one of the most special times of a person’s life and there is a huge bridal industry in the UAE and the wider Middle East, catering for everything from an intimate ceremony to an event happening over several days and involving a large amount of people,” explained Daphne Cota, Exhibition Director. “The BRIDE shows 2015 will see thousands of consumers and people working in the sector flocking to Abu Dhabi and Dubai to experience the full raft of services available in the marriage process, from engagement to honeymoon and beyond.”
Supported by Gold Sponsor, Royal Catering, one of the region's leading catering and hospitality service providers, the BRIDE shows will this year include popular features from previous shows, as well as a number of new wedding themed activities, events and retail zones for all visitors to enjoy. These include the following:
The Fashion Catwalk: The flagship feature of the shows, The Fashion Catwalk is a major draw for visitors and provides both international and regional designers an opportunity to showcase their haute couture, bridal and evening dresses as well as traditional wear.
VIP Tea Garden: Offering a tranquil, floral setting where guests will be offered a pot of Earl Grey to go with a delectable selection of sweet and savoury snacks, as well as visually delightful cakes.
Fitness Zone: Open to brides, non-brides and bridesmaids to learn how to banish bridal flab and get fit for the big day, the Fitness Zone will offer nutritional coaching and motivation designed to get participants in the best shape of their life in the shortest, safest possible time regardless of current fitness level.

“The UAE offers exceptional conditions for a fantastic wedding, with luxurious ceremony locations, great weather and expert planning teams and as this market has matured, the BRIDE shows have witnessed a remarkable increase in regional and international exhibitors and we are already witnessing strong interest in this year’s show, with registration for companies and retailers now being taken,” said Daphne Cota.
Further sponsorship will be provided by Silver Sponsors, Amwaj and R Designs, as well as Hair Sponsor, La Riche Spa, and Explore and Experience Sponsor, Al Rais.
Mohamed Jassim, Deputy Managing Director, Al Rais, said: “Our presence in next year’s BRIDE shows is different than usual as after five years of successful participation as an exhibiter, we are moving our “Explore & Experience” travel show event to be incorporated into the BRIDE shows.
