Egyptian singer and winner of Arab Idol's first season Carmen Suleiman, missed her close friend Moroccan singer Donia Batma's recent wedding, giving rise to assumptions that she and the bride were not on good terms.
The up and coming songstress assured that she and Moroccan singer Donia Batma are still tight, and despite her desire to share Donia Batma's special day marrying Mohammad Al Turk, she was unfortunately busy with a live performance in Palestine at the time.
Carmen said she does not think of following in Donia's wedding day footsteps any time soon, but she did specify the date she intends on doing so, "the idea of marriage does not cross my mind at the time, not due to my young age, but rather due to the fact that I am concentrating on my career and have many obligations in addition to my academic studies. I do however plan on getting married after three years, at the time I would have completed college."
Carmen described her ideal man saying he doesn't have to be handsome, but must be religious, patriotic, and love her for who she is, not her fame.
