George Clooney is reportedly insisting on a bullet-proof marriage prenup to protect his estimated $200 million net worth from his soon-to-be-wife, new fiancé Amal Alamuddin, in case they should ever divorce.
It's not that newly engaged George Clooney doesn't trust his girlfriend won't split, but you can never be too safe, and she is an award winning lawyer, after all.
A source reports that George is talking about his villa in Lake Como, Italy being the perfect spot to exchange "I do's."
He is reportedly insisting on Amal agreeing to sign his heavy-duty prenup before he signs any marriage license.
"George has had so many friends of through hell because of a split...He just wants to make sure that doesn't happen to him, if god forbid, he and Amal break up." The source said.
"Amal is a very smart woman who understands the business side of a relationship...She wouldn't expect anything less."
