Now that George Clooney's mother confirmed her son's engagement to Amal Alamuddin, his father is giving his opinion as well!
Goerge Clooney's broadcaster father Nick is unable to stop himself gushing about his future daughter-in-law.
He told RadarOnline: "We are thrilled for them. We love Amal. We think they’re a wonderful match and wish them well."
Nick, 80, added to Us Weekly: "We are thrilled. We have had an opportunity to interact with this wonderful young woman and these are two great people."
George's aunt Starla Clooney admitted she was surprised that the previously confirmed bachelor had decided to change his ways after dating Amal for just a few months.
She told RadarOnline: "I’m just as surprised as the rest of the world. George was going to be a bachelor his whole life."
George's aunt Starla, a non-denominational wedding minister, has offered to perform the ceremony for them.
"This woman must be exceptionally special to him for him to take the plunge. He hasn't seen her very long. In the past there has at least been some sort of length of time."
While his family were still on cloud nine, George and the Lebanese-born British barrister enjoyed a romantic motorcylcle ride on Sunday.
The brunette was even dressed appropriately for the outing in dark blue jeans, black motorcycle boots, a green-brown leather jacket and black helmet with visor.
