Groom Proposes With Lego Stop Motion Animation – Video!
Thu 12-01-2012

29-year-old toy lover and filmmaker, Walt Thompson, proposed to his girlfriend, Nealey Dozier, with Lego! How? By creating a stop-motion animation featuring a toy groom-to-be holding a diamond ring!

It took Walt Thompson 2 and half days to create this perfect proposal which also included recreations of their love story and how they first met.

The short footage was 3 minutes long and ended with the plastic groom standing at the altar holding a giant diamond ring as his Lego bride walks down an aisle lined with random characters including Star Wars figures. The words ‘Will You Marry Me?’ rolled across the screen!

The bride-to-be commented: “He claimed to be working on an anniversary poem, which didn't raise any flags, because he writes me one every year! He directed me to the DVD player and told me to press play. He then came to stand behind me, and within seconds I could feel the loud thumping of his heart and his quivering hands as they grabbed for mine. It was only then that I realized this was no anniversary poem!"

It doesn’t get any cuter than this right? Wrong! After the video ended Walt gave his bride-to-be a box with two Lego characters with the groom holding the real engagement ring!
