A Jordanian bride and groom who suffer from Polio disease got all the help they needed to get married.
The wedding was organized and paid for by a national project that helps marry couples who are over 31 years old, called "Al Urwa Al Wuthqa."
The groom, Hatem, is 41, and is on a wheelchair, while the bride, Nadia, who is 34, uses crutches to walk.
The wedding was attended by both families and members of the parliament.
"Al Urwa Al Wuthqa" is a charity registered in the Ministry of Social Development of Jordan since 1965. The assembly is working on establishing social projects targeting the poor, orphans, the needy and cultural projects aimed at the community with a focus on children and young people of both sexes.
