Karl Lagerfeld Offers to Design Keira Knightley's Wedding Dress
Thu 16-08-2012

Keira Knightley got engaged to James Righton earlier this year.

Keira has been a muse for Karl Lagerfeld in 2006 and is the face of Coco Mademoiselle perfume.

Vogue also reports that Keira Knightley may have asked Alexa Chung, another cover girl of Vogue, to be a bridesmaid.

International Business Times reports that stylist Sam Saboura said: "Karl Lagerfeld immediately comes to mind for Knightly's big day. Chanel is the perfect blend of edgy and feminine. Keira has a toughness and innocence about her. I'd like to see her meld the two."

Stylist Pamela Watson said, "Keira is so small-busted and thin that a traditional strapless wouldn't do her justice." Pamela Watson believes that Marchesa's style tailored, but not fitted, along with lace overlays might be the wedding dress best suited for Knightley. Grazia reported in May about the engagement, "...The Brit beauty could very well tie the knot in a swoon worth Karl Lagerfeld-designed Chanel gown...Chanel would go swimmingly with Keira's round, solitaire diamond engagement ring."
