Indian millionaire, Yogesh Mehta, spent £14million on the lavish wedding of his son, which took place over three days in Florence.
Around 500 guests have been invited to the wedding of Rohan Mehta and his bride Roshni.
Mr Mehta is the only son of Yogesh Mehta, a millionaire who established the Petrochem empire in Dubai in 1995.
Celebrations were planned to culminate at the city’s famous All Saints Square but Florence’s city council objected to the idea of the groom arriving atop an elephant.
So Mehta commissioned a fountain with a carved elephant covered with glittering mosaic tiles, reports La Nazione.
Yogesh, who is often known as Yogi, had recently announced about his son's marriage through his Twitter handle.
"Our son Rohan will marry his sweetheart Roshni on 27 November 2015 in Florence,Italy. A magical RORO wedding," Yogi posted on Twitter.
From gigantic crystal chandeliers, crystal crockery, massive floral embellishments, the Florence wedding saw it all.
