Peruvian actor and activist Richard Torres has married a tree for the second time!
Torres and his tree tied the knot at a ceremony in Bogotá's National Park on Sunday.
The ceremony was an attempt to raise awareness of environmental issues.
Torres said he hoped people would take a leaf out of his book and pay more attention to the man-made environmental problems around the world. He asked that rebels from Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia change from making war to planting trees, NBC reports.
This is Torres' second plant based wedding ceremony after last year when he married a tree in Buenos Aires. It is not known whether Torres' first woody spouse was aware of the nuptuals.
