The Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine and company crashed a lucky Los Angeles couple’s wedding for the band’s upcoming “Sugar” music video.
According to Perez Hilton, the group got all dolled up in their wedding best and performed a few songs, including perfect wedding tune “She Will Be Loved”, for the surprised wedding party.
Access Hollywood got the scoop directly from Adam Levine, who explained where the idea first originated from, citing the movie starring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson as the direct inspiration.
“David Dobkin, who is an awesome director and a really dear, dear friend, decided to revisit the concept of obviously the original ‘Wedding Crashers,'” he explained. “The only difference being we actually crashed weddings this time!”
“It was an incredible surprise and everyone at the wedding is going to cherish those memories,” Duke Photography told E! News. “They crashed the wedding and were filming their new music video during the performance. We can’t say much more, but that it was a great experience.”
The new bride and groom reportedly snapped a couple of pics with Adam Levine and the rest of the band as well. Levine, who himself is newly married to Victoria’s Secret model wife Behati Prinsloo in July, recently mentioned his own desire to start a family. As reported by the Inquisitr, Levine told an E! News interviewer recently that he is targeting a goal of 17 kids.
“Sugar,” meanwhile, is the band’s latest single to be released.
