Naya Rivera doesn't believe in friendship between married men and women.
During an appearance on The View Tuesday, the Glee star opened up about some of the unspoken rules about relationships and supported singer Mary J. Blige's claims that married people should't have friends of the opposite sex.
"I'm with Mary. I just got married and I'm pretty sure I told my husband that like two days ago," said Rivera, who wed Ryan Dorsey in a secret ceremony over the summer.
"It's really not so much a rule as I understand it, because I feel like you're playing with fire and opening up the floodgates here, and you're having issues in your marriage, but someone is going to talk to the opposite sex to get advice or whatever and you should be talking to your partner," she explained. "So I don't believe in it."
The actress added that while people are dating, they should be allowed to be friends with the opposite sex, but added that, "if you're now someone's wife, I'm sorry, ladies, but you got to get back a little bit more. It's different."
