Nicole Kidman's father Antony passed away in September at the age of 75.
And now the 47-year-old actress wants her mother to move in with her and her family in the US, claims a report by Celebrity Fix.
A source told the publication that the Australian actress wants her mother Janelle Ann close following the sudden loss but is allegedly finding resistance from husband Keith Urban.
A source told the website: 'Nic really wants to be with her and take care of her. With the loss of her dad, it's really hit home to Nic that life is so fragile.'
'And she wants to spend every moment with her mum,' the insider added. 'They've got plenty of room at their house in Nashville and she would love nothing more than her to have grandma close at hand.'
But Keith, 47, is allegedly concerned about his mother-in-law moving in as the source claims the country star wants more time with Nicole and the kids.
'That's why Keith isn't keen on Janelle moving in permanently,' the insider went on to claim. 'When he's home, he likes to kick back and relax. He doesn't want to worry about a permanent house guest.'
