Olympian Michelle Kwan just got married to Clay Pell, director for strategic planning on the National Security staff at the White House.
They got married at the First Unitarian Church of Providence, Rhode Island.
Michelle, who skated to "Fields of Gold" as her Olympic swan song, incorporated the same song into her wedding program.
She picked an ivory Vera Wang wedding dress; the bride cried as she was walked down the aisle with her father, Danny Kwan.
The couple's 240 wedding guests included Olympic champions Brian Boitano, Dick Button and Dorothy Hamill. They exchanged vows that they wrote themselves, and exchanged a kiss before the officially scheduled time in the ceremony.
"A few minutes later," a guest told People, "the minister said, 'And for their second first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. Clay Pell,' and everyone laughed."
