A Boston auction house said it will be selling a collection of 13 original and likely unpublished negatives from the wedding of John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy.
Four of the negatives feature the newlywed couple, two show the wedding party and the others show the cake and reception.
The executive vice president of RR Auction in Boston said that the photos were taken by freelance photographer Arthur Burges of Fall River, who was a back-up photographer at the wedding. Relatives discovered the negatives in his darkroom after his death in 1993.
The online auction is running from Sept. 26 until Oct. 15. Other items include a 1963 Kennedy holiday card, a JFK presidential document from 1962, a signed JFK letter from 1962, a vintage signed document for the radio debut of Marilyn Monroe, a Monroe autograph and a John Lennon letter.
The former president and first lady were married on Sept. 12, 1953 in Newport, Rhode Island in a ceremony with 700 guests.
