Famous singer, Seal, and now ex-wife, model Heidi Klum, were known to renew their wedding vows every year.
But it looks like Seal did not always approve, as he recently revealed that he had some reservations about the annual event during his 7 year marriage to Heidi Klum.
"That was my ex-wife’s idea, to be honest, it kind of turned into a little bit of a circus, which I wasn’t terribly fond of because, by default, I’m quite a private person." He said.
Each year the celebrity couple hosted a huge party, centered around them saying their vows.
Themes included 'white trash' and 'bride and grooms', with celebs and friends joining the family as they celebrated.
Seal said he hated publicity the vow renewals generated: "That’s the thing I disliked most about it."
"I don’t know how necessary [renewing the vows] was, but it was cool."
''You’re married and you become a team player," he said.
As for Heidi, she spoke about her idea of vow renewal every year in 2010, saying: "It's about remembering this moment of love we gave to each other and reinforcing it."
Heidi and Seal announced their split back in 2012 and their divorce was made official last year.
