Blake Lively is returning to the big screen with Age of Adaline, and she stars as a woman passing through multiple decades.
As part of the movie, she gets married, the picture of the movie is a perfect picture of a classic blushing bride that it's good inspiration for any modern-day lady.
To create the 1931 bridal look, the movie's director, Lee Toland Krieger, drew on Blake's timeless beauty. "It's delicate yet statuesque. This is Adaline's only marriage, and it precedes the accident that renders her ageless. It was important for her to look less affected, happy, open, and unfettered by the secret that will haunt her in the years that follow."
Makeup artist Monica Huppert said the team found inspiration from famous icons of the various eras, but it was important that this look felt realistic, not like stage makeup. "We had to make her a real person."
