18 year old Leslie Rivera was diagnosed with leukemia in April, and her condition is terminal.

So when the Make-A-Wish foundation stepped in to make one of her life-long dreams come true, there was only one thing the teenager wanted: to marry her high school sweetheart!

Rivera met Daniel Mendez in October 2012 at an anti-racism club at school and the two immediately hit it off. But within a few short months, Rivera was diagnosed with the terminal disease and Mendez was a constant presence by her side.

The Make-A-Wish foundation even got celebrity wedding planner David Tutera on board.

The ceremony took place on November 21 in Orange County, CA.

The couple had a  "Twilight" inspired reception, surrounded by friends and family.
