Wedding Hall Owner Beaten for Stopping Fireworks

In Rawalpindi, Pakistan, the owner of a private wedding hall was brutally beaten by young wedding guests when they were stopped from setting off fireworks outside the banquet hall during a wedding ceremony.

The young men, in limits of Waris Khan Police Station, also stole millions of rupees from the owner of the hall when he tried to stop them from fireworks.

The owner reported that the ceremony was underway when the participants suddenly started the fireworks which are banned across the Punjab province.

The owner said when he stopped them, the groom and his companions, attacked and injured him.
