According to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics in Egypt numbers, 9 million young men and women over the age of 35 are without marriage in the world of the Internet and television and with the absence of religious deterrent and guidance of family and the absence of the role of religious institutions.

A statistical study conducted by the National Population Council in Egypt revealed the spread of the phenomenon of secret marriages, especially among students of Egyptian universities, and in particular between the students of American University in Cairo and Cairo University.

Statistics showed the existence of 400 thousand secret marriage case, and that the majority of cases among young men and women who ranged in ages from 18 to 30 years.

And about the spread of incidents of mass sexual harassment in the recent period, the specialists stressed that the lack of family role is the main reasons for the spread of the phenomenon.

Parents are becoming too busy trying to make a living and therefore neglect the education of their children who have become teenagers.

Young Egyptians suffer from poverty and live in the era of globalization, the Internet and satellite television and other modern era and data are all affected negatively in their personality.

Urfi Marriages or secret marriages is not limited to students, but employees also, due to the bad economic conditions which raised the age of marriage and the spread of moral corruption in society and the lack of the role of family.
