Botox is used to treat:

2-Botox injections are used for "crow's feet" wrinkles (wrinkles on the sides of the eyes) and forehead wrinkles.
3-Botox also can be used for the bands that develop underneath the chin and extend to the neck.
4-Botox is also used migraine headaches, bruxism (tooth grinding) and some facial pain syndromes.
The injections are performed in the office with an ultra fine needle and the number of injections required varies with the degree of wrinkling.
Many patients receive Botox injections on their lunch hour and return to work. Botox is truly a lunchtime procedure.
The effects of Botox begin between 24-72 hours and the effect lasts an average of 3 to 6 months. There is some evidence that after several repeated injections, the effects last longer.
