Bridal Trend: Nail Stickers!

Nail stickers are becoming more and more popular, especially amongst celebrities and brides.

What are nail stickers? Basically, nail stickers are dry nail polish strips that you can stick on your nails instead of going through all the hassle of a liquid nail polish.

We all hate to wait for nail polish to dry, don't we? And as a bride you surely don't have the time to spend 20 to 30 minutes waiting for your nail polish to dry. And worse yet, you can’t afford to have them messed up.

The best thing about this trend is that you can stick it on your nails without any professional help, and you also don't have to book your manicure a day before your wedding! You can apply it and put on your dress without worrying about getting it stained.

Celebrities have been going crazy about this trend this season, such as Kim Kardashian, Snooki, Blake Lively, Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Avril Lavigne; who even launched her own nail sticker collection from Sally Hansen!

Many beauty and cosmetic brands have launched their collections of nail strips, including Sephora, Nail Ease, Nail Studio and many more!

It doesn't cost much and is already dry, what else can you ask for?

According to The Look, "Sally Hansen announced that Michelle Obama’s favorite Prabal Gurung is releasing a chic line of nail strips inspired by ensembles from the high-end designer’s spring runway collection. For just $9.99, you can finally have designer style at your fingertips."

Here is how you can apply nail stickers according to Sally Hansen:

-Remove nail polish if you have any, and make sure your nails are clean.

-The strips come in different sizes. Place the right sticker on the right nail (and, yes, there are stickers for toes too).

-Remove the clear plastic film on the back of the sticker.

-Place the sticker along your cuticle line.

-Press the sticker onto your nail with a cuticle stick. (This usually comes with the package).

-If you have any excess strip above your nail, fold it over your nail and file it off with a nail file.

Nail stickers come in every color, print, and pattern! Basic colors, shades, ombre, zebra or tiger print, polka dots, floral, lace … there are so many options for you to choose from.

You can find these nail strips at any beauty store, pharmacy, or you can buy them online.
