How To Prepare For Your Makeup and Hair Trials Before Your Wedding

Bridal makeup and hair trials are meant to help you get an idea of how you will look like on your wedding day, and make sure that you are not faced with any surprises on one of the most important days of your life.

Believe it or not, makeup and hair trials need preparation, but not to worry, we are here to give you some great tips, and help you get the most out of your makeup and hair trials so that you look fabulous on your big day!

Follow these 6 tips prior to your makeup and hair trial:

Do Your Homework: We can’t say this enough, always bring pictures of hair and makeup looks that you would like to try to help your hairstylist and makeup artist get an idea of what you want. (Click here for some bridal hair and makeup inspiration)

Show Them Your Dress: Take a clear picture of your wedding dress and show it to them so they can assist you on the best makeup and hair look that suits your dress and its neckline.

Study: If you’re not planning on bringing your makeup artists or hairstylist to your wedding, then you need to ask them everything you need to know on how you can fix your hair and makeup, just in case.

Dress The Part: Wear a top or dress that has a similar neckline to your wedding dress so you can have a clear idea on how you will look wearing your wedding gown.

Trust Yourself: If you’re taking your mother, sister, or friend with you, make sure no one affects your taste and decision; wear your hair and makeup in whatever way makes you feel and look beautiful.

Take Selfies: Yes, once you’re done, take as many pictures as you want from different angles.  This way it will be easier for your hairstylist and makeup artist to recreate the look on your wedding day.
