Fashion Inspiration: Princess Lalla Salma of Morocco

Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Salma, is the wife of King Mohammed VI and first wife of a Moroccan ruler to be given a title.

'Lalla' is a traditional name given in honor to women in high society and royalty.

The couple got married on 21 March 2002 and have two children: HRH Crown Prince Moulay Hassan and HRH Princess Lalla Khadija.

Princess Lalla Salma made it clear to the world that she has her own style and fashion sense. This was quite clear when she attended the wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in London and King Willem-Alexander's investiture in the Netherlands.

After attending the Dutch investiture, the Princess stormed to style success when HELLO! Online readers chose Lalla Salma's two stunning outfits as their favorites of all the guests' outfits, Hello! Magazine reported.

“The beautiful Princess had dazzled in a cream Moroccan caftan and sparkling tiara at the state dinner ahead of the ceremony, winning 38% of the votes. A day later the royal wowed in a heavily embellished green caftan and gold heels, once again topping the votes with 45%,” Hello! Magazine said.
