Anne Chertoff one of the most sought after consultants in the wedding industry had a Google hangout with some of the most important names in the wedding industry and here is what they had to say about what brides will be wearing in 2014.
And are the trends they loved from the NY Bridal Market 2013:
Darcy Miller, Editorial Director for Martha Stewart Weddings: Loves the colored wedding dresses as long as they are subtle, the dresses will be more simple and softer and less architetual.
Mark Niemierko, Wedding Planner: loves that brides will be wearing pink colored dresses, and playing with colors. He also really likes the idea of brides going back to Hollywood glamor, with full skirts, like Ines di Santo’s bridal collection.
Mark Ingram, of Mark Ingram Atelier: Mark said the color pink was all over the runways for bridal wear, Vera Wang had a pink and coral bridal collection. The trick is subtle layering of the color pink to create a beautiful blush color.
Another trend Mark Ingram loves is low backs covered with sheer fabrics.
Stepahnie Weers, Front Page Editor at Style Me Pretty: Loves the classic silhouettes and ball gowns from Vera Wang’s bridal collection. As well as the pink dresses.
She also think that the color gold will be soon taking over in bridal wear, accessories, headpieces, jewelry, as well as weddings.
Stephanie also added that Brides going back to classic weddings and looks with fuller skirts and ball gowns.
