How to Avoid Gaining Weight During Eid

During Ramadan, many people find it easy to lose some weight, due to the change in their diet and routine.

But once Ramadan is over, many can gain some weight during the Eid vacation.

If you're a bride-to-be and having your wedding soon after Eid, then you have to be careful of what you eat during Eid.

Here are some great tips to help you avoid gaining weight during Eid:

Back to Breakfast:

Many people make a huge mistake on their first breakfast after Ramadan, as they prepare a breakfast filled with fatty and unhealthy foods.

Having a fatty breakfast right after Ramadan can make you feel bloated and lazy, instead have a healthy breakfast to start your day.

Lunch and Dinner:

Have you're lunch later in the day, and closer to the timing of Iftar, so you don't shock your digestive syste, and avoid having an unhealthy and late dinner, which can cause in weigth gain.

Make sure you focus on eating lots fo fruits and vegetables, and drink lots of water.

Sweets and Nuts:

Eid is known to be an occassion where lots of sweets and chocolates are served as well as salty nuts and other Eid foods.

It is okay for you to enjoy Eid by having a sweet treat, but make sure you don't overdo it and have a small peice of your favorite kind only.

Don't hesitate in telling everyone that you are watching what you eat and trying to lose some weight before the wedding.

Exercise:

During Eid it is easier for you to exercise early in the morning so you can enjoy the rest of the day feeling energized and fresh.
