What to Pack for a Beach Destination Honeymoon

You can't wait for the wedding planning to be over so that you can head off to your beach destination honeymoon and just relax, right? But packing for your honeymoon can be a bit confusing if you don't know what you want to take with you.

We have given you packing advice in "The Ultimate Honeymoon Packing Guide," but this time we are helping you pack for a beach destination honeymoon:

Dresses and Skirts:

Pick items you can dress up by adding accessories, high heels, and makeup or that you can dress down by wearing the same dress or skirt with flats and simple accessories, so you won't have to take 10 skirts or 10 dresses with you!

Sarong or Wrap Skirt:

You will definitely need this if you will be spending all day at the beach!

Pack at least 2 just in case. And if you wear a hijab, look for swimming suits specially made for veiled ladies.

You can pack 1 or 2 pairs of pants if you prefer wearing pants on vacation, but you certainly don’t need to. Shorts can be more comfortable and convenient on tropical destinations, and you'll probably end up not wearing any jeans or pants at all. Pack at least 2-3 shorts, either cotton or jeans.

If you still want to pack pants for your honeymoon, opt for linen or cotton pants, or lightweight capris.

You will definitely need to pack several t-shirts and tank tops. Also consider packing a linen shirt, which could be really useful.

You will definitely need to pack a hat, either a large straw one for a stylish look, or a baseball hat for a more casual and sporty look.

Make sure not to forget your sunglasses.

Have 2-3 pairs of earring, bracelets, and necklaces to mix and match with your outfits.

You will need a pair of flip flops, flat sandals, and a pair or 2 of high heel sandals for the night.

If you're planning on walking or doing extra sport activities, then pack your tennis shoes and socks.

If you wear a hijab, then you will have to alter a few of the things you will be packing, here are a few tips:

*Don't pack dark colored clothes items.

*Cotton and linen are great for hot weather.

*If you are used to wearing a wrapped shawl for your hijab, opt for a cotton shawl or cap (princess cut) hijab instead.

*Pack a few maxi summer dresses you can wear at the beach or even for night time.

*Also pack 1-2 summer jackets that you can throw on any t-shirt or dress. Choose them in neutral colors so they can go with anything.

*Wearing a hijab doesn't mean you shouldn't pack a hat with you; you will need a big hat to prevent your face from sun damage.

Last but not least, don't forget your camera to capture all the beautiful moments!
