How to Clean Your Jewelry
Keep your wedding and engagement rings and jewelry clean and shiny! Your jewelry deserves good care and attention.
Diamond:
When you clean your diamond ring or jewelry use a toothbrush.
Soak your jewelry in warm water and detergent (don't use a strong detergent, only a mild one.)
Brush your jewelry with the toothbrush and set to dry.
Use a toothpick to reach places you can't reach with the toothbrush.
Silver:
Cleaning tarnished silver jewelry is also very easy. There is more than one way to do it:
-Soak your jewelry in warm water and detergent and use a flannel cloth to dry and rub your jewelry.
-If your silver jewelry is really tarnished and just won't get cleaned, use silver polish to remove the hard stains. Rub the jewelry with a soft sponge, rinse and dry.
- Toothpaste is also a great way to clean silver items. Make sure the toothpaste is without whitening options.
-Use a damp cloth or sponge and put the toothpaste on it. Gently rub the jewelry and rinse.
Gold:
To clean gold jewelry, simply soak them in warm water and dishwashing liquid. Brush with toothbrush and rinse. Dry with flannel cloth.
Pearls:
Rub each pearl with a soft cotton cloth. With warm water and a few drops of dishwashing liquid.
