UAE-based destination wedding planner, The Wedding Haven, launches its first book "The Wedding Haven’s Guide to Destination Weddings: Understanding the Process of Planning a Destination Wedding". The 318 page book is targeted at couples who wish to plan a destination wedding without having to hire a wedding planner.
It walks them through the essentials of how to announce their engagement to their families and friends, how to choose the ideal wedding location, what to wear, and even provides helpful tips and tricks on choosing their ideal wedding date, on selecting wedding favors, and creating their wedding day timeline.
The book also includes a 12 month checklist that will help keep things organized from the very start. From discussing the not-so-romantic planning details, to guiding them on how to carefully select the people that will make their dream a reality, this guide covers it all.
“This guide has been in the works for almost 2 years, and I’m so happy, excited, and proud to be able to share it with the world. It has been a long road, but worth every moment. The theoretical aspect of the book is based on a lot of the teachings that I learnt via the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada WPIC. And together with my lived experiences, both as a bride and as a certified destination wedding planner, it is my hope that couples will not only find this guide to be informative, but engaging and relatable,” said May Abu Jaber-Halasa, author and founder of The Wedding Haven.
