Sandra Mansour 2019 L’Ombre d’Un Miracle Collection
Lebanese fashion designer Sandra Mansour released her first ready to wear bridal collection. This magical wedding dress collection was titled L’Ombre d’Un Miracle, and it was inspired by The Book of Miracles, a Renaissance manuscript filled with watercolor depictions of folkloric tales and heavenly events.
“We really wanted to dream,” Sandra Mansour says of this collection, which featured gold embroidery and soft, dreamlike fabrics.
In some dresses, the designer pleated silk-organza in a dramatic fashion to emphasize visual femininity, as well as a seemingly stained gown with a yellow undertone to signify a vintage feel and the luminous, gothic appeal of the Renaissance.
