100 Hilton Hotels on Track in Saudi Arabia by 2025

Hilton Hotels & Resorts is on track to reach a milestone of 100 properties in Saudi Arabia by the end of 2025 as it aims to more than quadruple its presence in the Kingdom.
With 20 hotels in operation and 77 in the pipeline, Hilton properties now account for a quarter of all branded hotels rooms under construction in Saudi Arabia with the total number of hotel rooms expected to to nearly double by 2030, from 443,200 in Q3 2024 to 763,200, according to Knight Frank, a global real estate consultancy and estate agency.
With a diverse portfolio spanning luxury, lifestyle, premium economy and midscale brands, Hilton’s pipeline in Saudi includes a Waldorf Astoria and a Conrad at The Avenues in Riyadh (a large commercial mall), and a Waldorf Astoria in Diriyah Gate, a Waldorf Astoria in Abha (180 keys), and in the holy city of Al Madinah.
Three hotels opening under the brands Conrad Hotels and Resorts, Double Tree, and Hilton Garden Inn will add more than 1,600 hotel rooms in Madinah. For a list of hotels in Madinah click here.
Hilton's expanding lifestyle footprint will include a Curio at the Osus Eye project in Riyadh, 2 Curio resorts in farm-based destination Al Ahsa, a Canopy in Abha and a Canopy at The Avenues in Riyadh.
Signature Hilton Hotels & Resorts and DoubleTree by Hilton brands will open multiple properties in key cities including Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah and Jizan.
Tapestry Collection by Hilton to make Saudi Arabia debut
Hilton will open a Tapestry Collection hotel in Madinah later in 2025, marking the debut of the lifestyle brand in Saudi Arabia. Diyar Ajwa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is slated to open in November 2025 in partnership with Al Musbah Group. Dar Al Ajwa Hotel Madinah will have 221 rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, a café and a fully-equipped fitness centre. It will be located in central Madinah putting guests within walking distance of the Al Masjid Al Nabawi, the Prophet’s Mosque, and near the new Haramain high-speed railway station. With 160 hotels worldwide, Tapestry Collection properties are known for their individual design, authentic experiences and original F&B offerings.
Plans to add more than 21,000 hotel rooms across the country include the regional debut of premium economy brand Spark by Hilton in 2025, with Spark by Hilton Makkah Aziziyah bringing 329 rooms with twin and triple-bed configurations to the Holy City.
Part of the group’s growing midscale offering, Spark sits alongside Hampton by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn, which account for a third of the pipeline in Saudi.
Among recent signings in the kingdom, highlights include Hampton by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn properties in Jeddah, Jizan, and Abha, as well as at Neom. In Makkah, Hilton is opening the world’s largest Hilton Garden Inn, with 1,560 guest rooms.
