Arabia Weddings Organises a B2B Networking Event in Dubai
Arabia Weddings, the leading online weddings planning platform in the MENA region, organised a B2B speed networking event in Dubai on 18 June 2019. Held at the beautiful W Dubai - The Palm, the event drew a great selection of wedding planners, wedding vendors and professionals who effectively connected together and explored mutual business opportunities.
In the first B2B speed networking event of its kind in Dubai, Mix & Match, addressed the pain and challenges of the weddings industry by connecting the suppliers face-to-face in one-on-one brief meetings with wedding planners to pitch their products and services.

The group of wedding suppliers and professionals included florists, photographers, videographers, venues, technical production companies, artists and entertainers, event and furniture rental companies, suppliers of wedding favors, candles, decorative items, chocolates and more.
For newly-established wedding planners Mix & Match was particularly useful to them as they needed the swift and efficient introductions to many suppliers in the market. "The event was very beneficial as we met a lot of new suppliers that we haven’t come across in the market before. Through Mix & Match, we were able to expand our suppliers list very easily and smoothly. The event overall was very organized and planned in such a way that allowed us to take the time to speak to other vendors within the wedding industry to learn more about them, as well as, introducing ourselves to the," said Tala Bitar, Managing Director | Designer, Palmera Design & Events.
