A Turkish bath or hammam is known to be a great experience for cleansing your body and for relaxation. Who says you need to go to expensive Turkish Hammams to enjoy this experience?
Here is how you can enjoy a Turkish bath at home:
#1 Set the environment:
Run some hot water for a few minutes and create some steam in your bathtub. Add some candles, and even some rose petals to create a relaxing setting in your bathroom.
Fill the tub with warm water and add a few drops of natural scented oils.
#2 Scrub and Exfoliate:
Use a scrubbing mitt and some aromatic scrub to exfoliate your skin. (Check out our DIY scrub video).
Make sure you get a loofah back brush as well to be able to reach your back. For your face use a gentler loofah or scrub.
#3 Go Natural:
Choosing natural products is very important, your skin will look and feel amazing.
When you are selecting your oils and soaps for your Turkish bath, go as natural as possible and select organic ingredients and products that do not contain chemicals.
Don’t forget to moisturise your skin once you are done with your hammam.
