Bulgari Resort & Mansions to Debut in Abu Dhabi by 2030, Setting New Benchmark for Luxury

Italian luxury brand Bulgari is set to launch its first property in Abu Dhabi, the Bulgari Resort & Mansions, slated to open in 2030. This landmark project, a partnership with UAE developer Eagle Hills, will mark Bulgari's second destination in the Middle East after Dubai, and its ninth worldwide. It is anticipated to establish a "new milestone in haute hospitality."

The exclusive resort will be situated on a private island near Abu Dhabi’s Corniche, accessible by boat or a purpose-built bridge. It will feature a hotel with 60 exquisite rooms, suites, and villas, alongside 90 luxurious residences. The main resort building boasts two Bulgari Suites and a Bulgari Penthouse, complemented by 30 beachside villas, each with a private pool. The expansive 1,200-square-meter Bulgari Villa offers a private park, beach, and a 20-meter swimming pool.

Guests will indulge in a world-class culinary journey with fine dining options including Bulgari's signature casual restaurant Il Caffè and Bulgari Dolci. Il Ristorante - Niko Romito, overseen by the 3-Michelin-star chef, will serve contemporary Italian cuisine, while Hōseki offers modern Japanese dishes, and La Spiaggia provides Turkish fare. The resort will also feature the elegant Bulgari Bar.

Wellness and leisure are central to the experience, with a 2,000-square-meter Bulgari Spa including a 25-meter pool, a 1,000-square-meter fitness center, and an outdoor deck with sea views. A dedicated yacht club, complete with its own private beach, an exclusive membership program, and a 40-berth marina, further enhances the luxurious offerings.

The integrated residences and mansions, ranging from 1,650 to 2,500 square meters, are spread across eight distinct districts, each enjoying its own private beach. Select mansions will even feature private docks for boats up to 25 meters long.

Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari, commented, "This project is a tribute to Abu Dhabi's unique cultural identity, blending timeless sophistication with modern luxury." The new resort follows the successful Bulgari Resort Dubai on Jumeira Bay Island, which features 101 rooms, 20 villas, six residential buildings, and a two-Michelin-starred Il Ristorante – Niko Romito. Bulgari was recently ranked second globally in Luxury Travel Intelligence’s 2024 World's Best Luxury Hotel Brands.
