4 Tips to Avoid Getting Sick on Your Wedding Day

The last thing any bride wants is to get sick on her wedding day! Waking up on the most important day of your life and not feeling well can really put you down. A red nose and irritated eyes are not a great look for your wedding pictures either!

To help you avoid getting sick on your wedding day and help your immune system fight these bad viruses, we have some tips you need to follow.

Here are 4 tips that will help you avoid getting ill on your big day:

  • Sleep Well: Your immune system will be reduced if you get less than 7 hours of sleep on regular basis.
  • No Smoking: Regardless of all the other reasons, you should stop smoking now; it damages the linings of your nose and mouth, which are the first lines of defense against bacteria.
  • Keep it Clean: Carry hand sanitizer or wipes when you're on the go.  Also make sure to wash your hands, as washing your hands is the most important thing you can do to stop the spread of germs.
  • Eat Probiotics: Yogurt is known to help stimulate the immune system; it is also rich in Vitamin D which is great for your body.
