Janya: Sunshine and Serenity

The groom’s Janya ceremony was a composition of sunlit yellow blooms and off-white accents.

The colour palette radiated joy and purity, capturing the essence of new beginnings. The air was alive with the gentle fragrance of marigolds, and every detail from the floral arches to the seating exuded quiet sophistication. This was tradition, refined for the modern eye.

Sangeet: The Power of Red

As night fell, guests stepped through a handcrafted golden tunnel into a world ablaze with crimson "The Power of Red". Inspired by the lavish "Deewani Mastani" set from the movie Bajirao Mastani, this Sangeet was a celebration of passion and grandeur.

Every surface shimmered in ruby tones, every corner glowed in gold. The space seemed to pulse with energy, setting the stage for music, dance, and unrestrained joy.

Wedding: A Crystal Dream

On the wedding day, the vision was clear: a mandap of crystal, a walkway of glass, and a floral embrace of pink and pastel tones.

Overhead, deep red drapes framed the sky, their richness deepened by rose-tinted lighting. Then, the moment that silenced the crowd: as the bride and groom approached, a grand curtain fell away, revealing the mandap in a dramatic unveiling that drew gasps from all 250 wedding guests.

It was not just a reveal, it was a statement. A first-of-its-kind creation for The Big Night Events.

Reception: A Garden of Modern Elegance

The final act was bold and modern, yet timeless!

The reception transformed into a contemporary garden soiree, sleek architectural lines surrounded lush greenery, and the centrepiece was a black-and-white geometric dance floor, aptly named "Verde".

Here, under the stars, guests toasted the couple, laughter echoed into the night, and the dance floor never once stood still.

The Power of Collaboration

This wedding was a symphony of vision and teamwork. Partnering with the talented and visionary planner, Innayat Khubchandani from Innaz Communique, was a seamless experience, a collaboration rooted in creativity, precision, and an unspoken understanding that perfection was the only standard.

In Innayat’s words: "First of all, it was, we have never worked with you or your team before! I think it clicked right into place, and it felt number one like family! Number 2, I had a lot of moments where I had warm, fuzzy feelings. Whereas the interaction that we were having was just clicking into place. Very organic, it wasn’t, you know, I had to push some when I wanted something, it's like you guys were doing it even before I even liked it. The last thing is we blended, the way we gel together off and on work! I felt like I knew you guys for a lot longer than I knew you guys, and like I have worked with you 50 times in the last 20 years, when it’s our first time!"

In the words of the bride and groom (Shakeera and Rahul): "Thank you, the placement of the stage, lovely! The ballroom looked completely different every day. I mean, that's all we wanted. The curtain dropped on fire, yeah! Beautiful!"
