The Sakina Paris Bridal Collection For Spring and Summer 2016

Former student from L’Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, Sakina first built her technique at Chanel atelier as a seamstress, where she learnt the art of embroidery, the rigour of Haute Couture and the demand of an elite clientèle.

Then, she met fashion designer Alexandre Vauthier in 2013 and started a year of collaboration; she learnt draping and the structure of women garment.

The 2016 Spring/Summer collection infuses a sense of purity and candid lightness, in a world free from violence.

For this first season, Sakina chose white as the symbol of Hope and made her whole collection with a focus on the Beauty and Fragility of woman under her most powerful expressions.

The delicate details such as guipure appliqués, flower embroideries, buttons of perles de nacre, the delicate beading work and the seethrough flowing silk organza silhouettes, are a celebration of Delicacy.

Neoromanticism is the leading theme of this 2016 season and gives the whole collection a charming lightness with a strong focus on details.
