The Wedding of Princess Iman Pahlavi in Paris

Princess Iman Laya Pahlavi, granddaughter of Iran’s last monarch, Mohammad Reza Shah, and his wife Empress Farah, married American technology entrepreneur Bradley Sherman in an elegant and culturally-rich ceremony in Paris.
The couple quietly registered their marriage at Manhattan Marriage Registry in May 2025, attended by close family, including Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi and Princess Yasmine.
Held near the Arc de Triomphe i Paris, the festivity brought together extended family, most notably grandmother Empress Farah Pahlavi, along with dear friends.
A contemporary take on the Sofreh Aghd from Persian tradition, curated by Ilái Sarái, a luxury lifestyle brand based on Persianate traditions, was central to the ceremony. Each element—from mirrors to sweets was crafted by artisans spanning Iran, Europe, and beyond.
Princess Iman stunned in a custom Elie Saab gown that transformed through 3 distinct looks during the day, combining lace, embroidery, and smart tailoring, mirroring her blend of heritage and modernity.
Empress Farah, as well as Iman’s mother and sisters, wore couture gowns by Elie Saab.
