The Mediterranean Room is ideal for exclusive events next to the outdoor pool and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It has a maximum capacity of 250 people and a minimum of 120 guests. From April to November, the hotel only holds evening weddings in this space since it is located in the pool area which would have to be closed exclusively for you.
For events of more than 200 guests, it is necessary to hire the Azulete room as plan B for the cocktail or welcome drinks, in case of bad weather. Located in a private, landscaped area, its kiosk-type structure was inspired by a Barcelona restaurant of the twenties, from which it takes its name: Azulete. The Azulete is an ample, glass-walled space fully integrated into a beautiful garden, with spacious porches that extend the space into the open air.
A welcome cocktail reception can be held at the Tipuanas Garden; a very spacious and versatile space where you can enjoy a cocktail overlooking the sea. The rental of this space is included in the rental of the Mediterranean Room.
In case you want to hold a Civil Ceremony at Hotel Miramar, it could be carried out in the Patio de las Tipuanas followed by a cocktail reception at the pool deck.
Located in the high ground of the hotel is an elegant, spacious garden with spectacular views of Barcelona and the Mediterranean. The Patio de las Tipuanas is flanked by attractive South-American Rosewood trees (Tipuanas) that, depending on the time of year, adorn it with their foliage, their delicate flowers or their fruit. Originally, it was a lookout, with old stone benches that are still standing and from where you can enjoy the best views of the hotel. The Azulete is a large glassy space with porches, fully integrated into a beautiful garden at the Hotel Miramar Barcelona. This space works exclusively with the hotel's kitchen and has no extra rental cost for banquets of more than 50 guests. Its maximum capacity is 180 guests and the space has no limitation during the year as far as the start time for banquets is concerned; they can be both day and night.
The cocktail reception before the wedding banquet would be served in the Orange Tree Garden or in the Azulete Gardens. The rental of these spaces is totally free when hiring the Azulete Hall for more than 50 guests.
In case of wanting to hold the Civil Ceremony at Miramar Hotel, it could be carried out in the Orange Tree Garden. This patio has an authentic Mediterranean atmosphere created by the ancient orange trees that line both sides of the patio and by the magnificent views over the gardens, making this the ideal space for ceremonies or for various open-air catering services.
