Aviva Samuels, wedding planner from Kiss the Planner, suggests that Florida is a good place for destination weddings. “The warm weather and the spectacular beaches are the main reasons couples choose to get married in Florida. We have many luxury hotels and historic locations for couples to choose from. We have coastal cities and towns and other inland towns that have the countryside vibe”, explains Aviva.

For couples who like the idea of getting married in Florida, Aviva suggests some wonderful historical venues such as the Breakers Palm Beach, The Biltmore Hotel, The Boca Resort & Club, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens and Maralago (President Trump’s home).

How do you entertain your wedding guests? Well, there are plenty of options; according to Aviva, Florida has something for everyone, especially those who love the water. “Snorkeling, diving, deep sea fishing, windsurfing and catamaran sailing are all very popular, but for those who want to relax on the beaches, dine in casual or fine restaurants, dance until dawn or take in the local history, there is plenty to do”, ads Aviva.

Aviva also says that at weddings, it is common to have stations where guests can choose different ethnic foods from other counties, or, more American fare such as chicken and waffles, mashed potatoes or macaroni and cheese with a choice of toppings.
