Confessions of a Real Bride: Zein Al Fawwaz

Zein Al Fawwaz and Mohammad Abu Tayeh’s wedding was on the 15th of November 2013 in Amman, Jordan at the Le Meridien Hotel.

Zein shared her wedding planning experience with Arabia Weddings, so brides-to-be can learn from her experience. Here is what she had to say:

  • Did you hire a wedding planner or planned the wedding yourself?

Yes, we did. The wedding planner was Mohannad Rabadi of R B Events Management

  • What is the biggest advice you can give any bride-to-be?

Just enjoy the ride as stressing out is not worth it. The biggest advice is to plan your wedding ahead of time and never leave anything till the last minute. It took us 6 months to prepare for our wedding.

  • What was the theme or color scheme you picked for your wedding?

My dress was designed by the amazing designer Khalid Khalil and the entire theme and color scheme was set according to my dress. It was white, crystal and silver.

  • Do you recommend specific suppliers you worked with?

Mohannad Rabadi is such an amazing and professional wedding planner. Everything was perfect and executed professionally.

My hair and makeup were done by Sufian Marei.

  • What was the most difficult and stressful part of wedding planning?

The floor plan! We had a huge wedding and seating people so they can feel comfortable was a big challenge.

  • Do you consider yourself as a relaxed bride or more of a bridezilla?

Both of us were nervous but in general, we were relaxed most of the time.

  • Describe your wedding day and the planning process.

Our zaffeh was a surprise to everyone. We did not have a typical zaffeh. We both entered separately. I had an Emarati zaffeh where the bride walks slowly on a runway to an Emarati song and Mohammad had a bedouin zaffeh.

The napkin rings were custom made and used as bracelets for the ladies. All the ladies were wearing them at the wedding.

  • Did Arabia Weddings help you in your wedding planning?

Not exactly, but I always checked the website for the advice!
