Confessions of a Real Bride: Majd Al Faraj
Bride Majd Al Faraj met her husband randomly while he was working with her sister in the same company in Amman. Majd is Jordanian and her husband is German.
Majd shared her wedding planning experience with us to help other brides and grooms plan their wedding.
- When and where was your wedding held?
Our first wedding was held on the 14 July 2017 in Amman at my parents house. We also had a second wedding on 22 July 2017 at Schloss Rosenau, which is a former palace in Coburg, a town located on the Itz river in the Upper Franconia region of Bavaria in Germany.
- What do you advise other brides-to-be planning their wedding?
Just chill and enjoy every single moment in your big day!
Really, I lost my wedding ring after our wedding ceremony at the church before our reception party, but still we enjoyed every minute of it, and the ring was found a day after the wedding.
- What was the theme or color scheme you picked for your wedding?
The first wedding in Amman was a colorful wedding with world globes and travel items as we come from different countries and cultures. The second wedding was a victorian-themed wedding.
- Do you recommend specific suppliers you worked with?
Wedding R Ours, Ahmad Shehadeh Photography, M&M's Chocolate - Germany, Adidas Shoes - Germany, JETT Bus Company - Amman and ATICO Group for Catering in Amman.
