Confessions of a Real Groom: Hamzeh Alzetawi
Hamzeh Alzetawi and Rana got married on March 28, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (Amra) in Amman, Jordan.
We are pleased that this is the first time that a groom shares his experience in the wedding planning with Arabia Weddings!
Here is what Hamzeh had to say about his wedding planning process:
- Did you hire a wedding planner or planned the wedding yourself?
We hired a wedding planner, Zaid Belbeisi of First Flower Wedding Services. It was a great experience working with Zaid. We have checked the company’s work before (by attending a wedding arranged by them) and by watching videos for other weddings they planned.
They were amazing, and that gave us really good reasons to trust them to do each single detail at our wedding. And for sure, they surprised us with a great wedding that exceeded our expectations.
- What is the biggest advice you can give any bride or groom-to-be?
To keep in their minds that this wedding is for them and that they have to do whatever they want to be happy, regardless of what the people around think or say. It’s their big day, so do unusual and unexpected things to make your wedding extraordinary.
- What was the theme or color scheme you picked for your wedding?
Gold

- What was the most difficult and stressful part of wedding planning?
We didn't face any difficulties with our planner. Honestly they were helpful and dealt with any stress we might have had!
- Did you face any surprises?
Sure, but they were good and positive surprises with Zaid Belbeisi, so we were even happier than ever.

- Do you consider yourself as a relaxed groom or more of a groomzilla?
I was a relaxed groom.
- Describe your wedding day and the planning process.
I will describe our wedding with a few words: It was a special day. All our friends and relatives were happy, and all of them had amazing comments about it.
- Did Arabia Weddings help you in your wedding planning?
Sure, we checked the website regularly and we learnt a lot about wedding planning from it. They are a world!
