Reem Bajabaa
Reem Bajabaa was born in a small town on the west coast of Saudi Arabia, but her childhood was not all spent there. Her family and she moved around the world a great deal; mainly between the UK and the US.
This exposure to different cultures and people would later play a big part in inspiring her to become a talented artist that she is today. When reem was about nineteen years old she realized that art was her passion. by the age of 25, She was attending an exhibit in her hometown featuring some local artists, when she became mesmerized by the work of a particular artist. His work touched her on such a fundamental level that she knew right there and then that photography was her calling., So she sights after her newly acquired life-goal with nothing but a disposable camera and a trip to London.
Two years later Reem became one of the most renowned female photographers in the Kingdom. Her work can only be described as being romantic, ethereal and sensuous— Reem’s images exude quiet and steady confidence with maturity beyond her years. By the age of twenty-seven, Reem decided to focus on wedding and fashion photography along with landscape which takes her out of this world to beyond inspiration from the beauty of this life, and like any other field, she had ever gone into she prospered. She is presently working with many of the known names in Saudi Arabia and books photo-shoots all throughout the year.
Tasneem Alsultan
Born in the US and raised between the United Kingdom and Saudi where she is currently based, Tasneem Alsultan is an investigative photographer, storyteller, and global traveler. With an inquisitive eye and camera at hand, she offers intimate and unique perspectives into the everyday lives of her subjects, telling their stories from her heart while striving to humanize and connect their realities to her audiences.
Selected as one of the 10 grantees of the Magnum Foundation/ Prince Clause/ AFAC grant in 2015, she began working on her project Saudi Tales of Love which was published in Time’s Lightbox, and later exhibited in Paris Photo, PhotoKathmandu, and among the slideshow at the prestigious Visa Pour L’Image, Perpignan in 2016.
Tasneem was selected by British Journal Photography among the best 16 emerging photographers to watch, and PDN’s 30 photographers to watch in 2017. She is a finalist in the 2017 Sony World Photography Awards in Contemporary Issues. She soon joined Rawiya, the first all-female photography collective from the Middle East. In 2018 she joined the Canon Ambassador program as the program’s first Arab female photographer and was selected as one of the 12 recipients of the Joop Master Class, part of the World Press Photo, Netherlands. In 2019, Tasneem was selected as a recipient of the Catchlight Fellowship to continue her work on Saudi women.
Mona Reema
Mona Alyedreessy is a half British half Saudi professional photographer and photojournalist.
She studied a specialist BA (honors) program and Masters in Photography and Digital Imaging in London and currently works as a professional freelance event photographer in London and Saudi Arabia.
She specializes in event photography (henna parties, engagements, weddings, you name it!). She has been working as a professional photographer since 2004 and has captured many weddings from English weddings to Indian, Arab and North African weddings and also other cultural events.
Salma Jammal Photography
Fashion and portrait photographer Salma is based in Ottawa, Canada. Growing up in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and spending her childhood between the middle east and Canada. Salma’s passion for photography started at a young age in 2005 and ever since was experimenting with still life and portrait photography. Salma started her photography business in 2011 in the middle east, working with celebrities and local fashion brands and magazines. In 2019 won an Honorable Mention by IPA.
