American fashion designer Christian Siriano, 32 years old, launched his bridal collection of wedding dresses for Spring 2018 at the New York Bridal Week.
The collection included beautiful range of wedding gowns that combines both trendy and classic sillouettes.
The designer was keen to highlight the classic style in many of the collection's dresses; some made of lightweight fabrics while other with more heavier fabrics. For the traditional bride, there are plenty of full-skirted gowns that were light in weight yet heavy on romance. "Brides still want to wear classic dresses in different seasons," said Christian Siriano in an interview.
For the bride, who wants a simple modern look, Christian Siriano has a jumpsuit in silk for her, along with wedding dresses made of separates; a top piece and a skirt that can be mixed-and-matched to transition from the ceremony to reception.
Siriano placed emphasis on frothy tulle skirts and textured embroidered bodices. He also combined both in one multitiered piece that gradually shifted from white to ivory, creating an interesting ombré effect. The blended mix of colors felt quietly unexpected, while the volume and fluff placed the silhouette firmly in fairy-tale territory.
